Motorsports to go down south to turn left and right
Commack, NY: DeMonte Motorsports is proud to announce
Riverhead Raceway Late Model competitor, Anthony DeMonte will
compete in the 50th Annual Mobil One 12 hours of Sebring
weekend. DeMonte will be competiting in SCCA Pro Racing World Challenge, and
will take place in Sebring International Raceway in Florida
from March 13th to 16th.
Tony's career began in road racing, competing in the
Eastern Motor Racing Association (EMRA). With two years
experience, Tony went on to win the 1998 and 1999 Sprint
Series Championships, in the STGT division. Tony then
advanced to the SCCA World Challenge, where he ran a limited
schedule in 2000 and 2001. Also during 2001, he began
his campaign in the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series, driving the
Stalco Construction, L&T Plumbing #45 Late Model to one
top five and seven top ten finishes.
With the extensive work done to the #45 Stalco
Construction, Weil-McLain Mustang Cobra over the past year,
the crew anticipates an exciting week of racing. Look
for the 12 hours of Sebring to be broadcast on the Speed
Channel in the weeks following the race.
