COYOTE
RACING ANNOUNCES NEW SPONSORS TO PROPEL THEM TO THE FRONT IN 2002
Islip Terrace, NY:
Coyote Racing announced today the addition of two new
sponsors, Over the Hill Racing and Rob’s Truck Loaders,
which will be teaming up with Doug Watson and the #3
Blunderbust in their 2002 Blunderbust campaign.
Stanley Robertson, a private contributor,
has joined the Coyote Racing team to help propel the #3 onto a
successful season. Stanley
Robertson will display “Over the Hill Racing” on the black
#3 Chevrolet. “The
addition of Stanley to the team is welcomed and needed.
We are excited to see what we can do with some
financial backing,” Coyote Racing owner/driver Doug Watson
commented.
Along with Stanley Robertson’s Over the
Hill Racing, Rob’s Truck Loading Service is a welcomed new
addition to the team as well.
Rob’s Truck Loaders have been working with long-time
sponsor Coyote Catering and will join the Coyote Racing team
in their quest for a successful Blunderbust campaign.
In addition to Coyote Racing’s two
newest sponsors, Mike’s Auto Recycling, Coyote Catering,
Howie Cam Photos, and LongIslandJam.com will be returning to
the team and will once again adorn the colorful #3 Blunderbust
in 2002.
Coyote Racing has been racing Enduros at
Riverhead Raceway since 1997, with at times up to four cars on
a given race day. In
the later part of 2000, Doug Watson purchased the #3
Blunderbust and brought Coyote Racing to NASCAR weekly
competition on Saturday nights.
In their limited season, Doug Watson and the #3
Chevrolet recorded a top ten in the end of the year 50-lapper
along with 2 heat race wins.
Last season, Doug had a successful 2001 campaign with
many strong runs which included a top five and seven top tens,
bringing the #3 Coyote Racing Chevrolet 12th in the
final points standings. “I
was really happy with last year’s finish, but we know we can
improve and we will,” Doug remarked.
In addition, Doug’s expertise in Enduro
racing is recognized throughout racing circles in the
Northeast as he writes the noted “Enduro Tip of the Month”
column for LongIslandJam.com in addition to his field
reporting of the Enduro races at Riverhead Raceway.
As well as writing for LongIslandJam.com, Doug also
writes a weekly race report from behind the wheel of the #3
for Coyote Racing’s website at www.coyoteracing3.com.
The future is looking bright for the #3
Coyote Racing Chevrolet of Doug Watson, and with the newfound
financial backing from Stanley Robertson’s Over the Hill
Racing and Rob’s Truck Loading Service, Doug Watson will be
one to watch for during the 2002 Blunderbust season.
