YOUNG
RACER AND TEAM LOOKING FOR YOUR HELP
Last month, some low lives came into go-kart racer, Eric Hersey's
home and stole their 1996 Ford F350 White dual wheel truck and
16 foot #27 S&H Welding/Spare Parts marked Pace America
trailer. In that trailer included basically the whole
Hersey Racing operation, including their Junior Sportsman
Champ kart, Junior II open kart, and his brand new 2002 T3
Junior Sportsman II open kart as well as everything else
involved with their racing operation. Basically
EVERYTHING is gone.
Soon after his new 2002 T3 Junior Sportsman II open kart was found in the
woods of an Islip area.
Today at 12 noon
Hersey Racing located their truck and trailer with most of its
contents intact. Hersey Racing received a call today from a
gentleman named Mike, manager of Covert Apartments. According
to Mike it seems the truck/trailer have been in the parking
lot for the past month. Hersey Racing were at Westhampton for
the 1st of 5 regional series races and rushed to the location
of the truck and trailer, and there it was. The Hersey family
were elated to find the truck and trailer, but the 2 karts,
generator and some tools and parts were gone. Nevertheless,
the Herseys are thrilled to death to have most of it
back. The Hersey would like to thank everyone who has helped
us during this trying time.
Still the perpetrators remain
at large along with two karts and some equipment. Anyone with information, anything that you may have seen or
heard, please contact dmh61@optonline.net.
