TRAGEDY STRIKES IN RACING COMMUNITY

This past Sunday, tragedy struck as Bobby Zurawski, son of #40 Bob Zurawski and nephew of Blunderbust champion Frank Curtis and former Modified racer Mike Curtis, was killed in a car accident.

The pits would be a second home for the young Bobby, as he grew up watching his father driving Late Models and his Uncle Frank dominating the Blunderbusts.

Many in the pits saw Bobby grow from a child to the fine young adult he became, but unfortunately his life was taken all too soon.

Bobby had loved the sport of racing and was his father’s #1 fan.  He loved to watch his Dad battle fellow competitors such as Steve Tooker, of whom Bobby also cheered on.

Bobby is survived by his father Bob, stepmother Debbie, his mother Liz, and confidant Carter.

Bobby will be missed all those in the pits, as well as his family, and his friends.
