"PAPA SMURF" PASSES AWAY
Ted
"Papa Smurf" Zelesny passed away this week.
Zelesny was a former Blunderbust competitor at Riverhead Raceway,
and earned two feature wins when the division was just beginning
to form.
Zelesny
is to be laid out at Walsh Funeral Home, Carelton Avenue, Central
Islip on Wednesday October 16 and Thursday October
17th 2-4PM and 7-9PM. He will be buried Friday. He was
a track personality with a huge heart.
