LEDEOUX WINS LARRY COSTA MEMORIAL AND BENEFIT FOR HIMES MUSEUM

The RacerHub SIM Series returned this past weekend to race at Dover Downs International Speedway for the Larry Costa Memorial 125 presented by www.longislandjam.com.  In addition to the event being an event to remember Riverhead Super Pro Truck driver, Larry Costa, it was a benefit event for the Himes Museum where on behalf of the RacerHub SIM Series, RacerHub would donate the winnings to the reconstruction of the Himes Museum.

The race would produce some long green runs at the end, but the beginning would be plagued by cautions.  Marty Himes himself came out to race that night saying it was the most interesting experience he's had.  Himes' day would end early as result of heavy damage to his #50 from an incident. RacerHub SIM Series top guns, Wally Voegel and Sal Accardi, Jr. would battle it out for the lead throughout the race, but at the end of the race, the two would both succumb to engine failures.  Coming out of nowhere and into the lead would be the #66 Weiser Motorsports Chevrolet of "B" racer Mike LeDeoux, Jr. who would go on to edge out fellow "B" racer Dan Dombal for the win.

Following LeDeoux to the line would be Dan Dombal in the #63 LongIslandJam.com Chevrolet and rounding out the top three would be the #39 Aable Auto Salvage Chevrolet of Sal Accardi, Jr..
