WRITER WINS PLACE IN CHICKEN SOUP FOR THE NASCAR SOUL
Raceway Media contributing writer, Mike fields, wrote a
true and personal story that was accepted for publication in Chicken
Soup for the NASCAR Soul, which is scheduled to be
released April 24th 2003. Mike’s contribution,
“Learning From Dylan”, was selected from thousands of
potential stories to be included in the internationally
acclaimed Chicken Soup
for the Soul series. His remarkable story recounts how a
young man with cerebral palsy was given a very special night
at Riverhead Raceway and subsequently all those who attended
the races. Mike’s story, along with the ones written by his
fellow contributors, shares the mystery and wonder of racecar
driving and the colorful personalities who win our hearts on
the track.
