DART FUEL OIL AGAIN
FUELS RIVERHEAD LATE MODEL TROOPS
Dart
Fuel Oil has returned to the Riverhead Raceway Late Model fold
as a seasonal sponsor for 2003 for their second consecutive
season. The Late Models are a Saturday night regular
part of the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series at Barbara and Jim
Cromarty's Riverhead Raceway facility.
Based in Centereach, Long Island Dart
Fuel Oil was able to keep pace during the past long cold
winter as far as oil deliveries and service calls were
concerned. Also keeping pace most recently has been Late Model
driver Doug "Hurricane" Wholey of Centereach who
backed up his opening night 5th place finish in his Dart Fuel
Oil sponsored entry, with his first career victory on May 10th
in a wire-to-wire performance.
Dart Fuel Oil will host their night at
the race program on September 6th and add money to the weekly
Late Model purse. The Late Models are joined every Saturday
night that they compete by the NASCAR Modifieds, Figure
Eights, Chargers, Blunderbusts and Super Pro Trucks.
The NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series
continues each week at Riverhead Raceway, with qualifying
events starting at 4:30 PM and feature events going green at
6:30 unless otherwise noted on the schedule.
