MORTGAGE ONE BANKS ON RIVERHEAD RACEWAY CHARGER CLASS

    After starting the season without a seasonal sponsor the second week of action for the Charger class saw the popular division boast two sponsors for 2003 when it was announced that MortgageOne had signed on the week of May 5th. The Charger division is part of the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series at Riverhead Raceway and also has Eagle Chevrolet as a seasonal sponsor for 2003.
    The deal was announced by Bob Finan of Riverhead Raceway and Tim Halpin of MortgageOne, who manages the firm's Riverhead office just east of the track on Old Country Road (Rte 58). When not at his office Tim can be found as he has for the last 20 years in the pit area, as he works with the MortgageOne Charger entry of Scott Lehmann of Shirley. Halpin will offer mortgage advice either by that car after the races or he can be contacted at 1-800-LOW-RATE for further info.
    MortgageOne will add money to the weekly Charger prize money and host their night at the races August 23rd on I Love America night, which will also feature the second huge Fireworks display of 2003.
    The Chargers along with the NASCAR Modifieds, Late Models, Figure Eights, Blunderbusts and Super Pro Trucks make up the regular race cards at Riverhead on Saturday evenings. Qualifying commences at 4:30 PM and the main events go green at 6:30 unless noted otherwise.
