JUNE 14 MAKEUP DATE FOR DEMOLITION DERBY

Like so many tracks in the Northeast, Riverhead Raceway is still playing catch-up with it's 2003 schedule due to a rain plagued start to the season.  With that in mind Barbara and Jim Cromarty have announced a June 14th make-up date for a twice rained-out Demolition Derby.
The first Demolition Derby of the season was originally set for Saturday May 24th on Memorial Day weekend, but rain wiped out that evening's card early in the day. The following week May 31st rain once again squashed any racing from taking place at the historic quarter mile facility. Barbara and Jim sincerely hope the adage "third time is a charm" will apply for the June 14th NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series show and Demolition Derby.
With a Train Race and One-On-One Spectator Drags joining five divisions of NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series divisions the Dodge Night was already a busy night and became even busier with the addition of the Demolition Derby.
