TROOP 330 TO VISIT
RIVERHEAD ALONG WITH ALEX ILCHERT'S DEMO
Boy Scouts Troop 330 of West
Islip will be special guests of Alex Ilchert and his patriotic
#89 red, white, and blue car this upcoming Saturday for the
demolition derby at Riverhead Raceway.
Alex Ilchert, Jr. has been
racing over ten years since winning his debut in 1992 over the
likes of seasoned veterans of Long John Silver, Oliver,
Whiplash, and Primmy to name a few. Ilchert has been a
strong runner ever since then and can never be counted out on
a given night.
Ilchert's #89 is sponsored
by Red's Auto Body, J&C Auto Salvage, and Rob's
Towing. Ilchert is expecting a good run this demolition
derby, as Ilchert has a 1978 Lincoln Town Car with a nice set
of stacks through the hood, the traditional Ilchert red,
white, and blue paint scheme, and for this weekend, handprints
from Troop 330.
So with over a hundred fans,
courtesy of troop 330, fueling Ilchert's passion to win,
fans in general will be in for a treat as Ilchert and the rest
of the demolition derby drivers should put on a show to
remember with plenty of fireworks to be seen in this July 4
weekend's Demolition Derby.
