HOLLYWOOD STUNT SHOW TO THRILL RIVERHEAD FANS JULY 19TH & 20TH

Charlie Belknap's Hollywood Stunt Show will return to Riverhead Raceway over the weekend of July 19th and 20th to thrill Long Island fans with their precision driving and death defying stunts. The NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series and a Ladies Enduro will join the Hollywood Stunt Show on Saturday evening while the Blunderbust and Enduro series will compliment the show on Sunday afternoon.
The "Tournament of Thrills" will leave fans awestruck as they fly around the quarter mile facility in their Ford vehicles, with the classic high speed, bumper clicking precision driving taking place in 260 HP Mustang GT Coupes. Also on tap will be the breathtaking 180-degree reverse spins and a two wheel drive around the track in a Ford f-150 with a stuntman balancing himself on the truck all the way around!
The Hollywood Stunt Show will heat up this already hot night when the human ram flies through a flaming barrier while another stuntman leaps off the rear bumper of a Mustang into flaming gasoline. The highlight of the program will come when skill and daring are held in balance with the Hollywood Dive Bomber crash.
For over 100-years the Hollywood Stunt Show has thrilled young and old alike across the country and Long Islanders will only get one weekend to witness the thrills and spills of a lifetime on July 19th and 20th at Riverhead Raceway.
Saturday night will serve as 3M/Artic Cat night for the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series with the NASCAR Modifieds running in the Doug Wholey Excavating night 35-lap feature. The rolling thunder of the Late Model division will compete for the Eagle Chevrolet trophy and be joined by the "world famous" Figure Eights, Chargers and Super Pro Trucks.
Saturday night will also be "ladies" night as Barbara and Jim Cromarty present a Ladies Enduro to add further spice to the show.  If the past races are any indication some great side-by-side action will occur where anything can and usually does happen.
Sunday afternoon will see the first ever appearance of the popular Blunderbust division performing for the Enduro fans and competitors alike in a 20-lap feature proceeded by qualifying heats. A full compliment of Enduro racing will unfold with the Grand Enduro, 8 Cylinder and 4 Cylinder action on tap as well as a 4/6 Cylinder Truck Enduro and One-On-One Spectator Drags.
Action will start one half hour earlier than normal on July 19th with qualifying races at 4:00 pm and the feature events going green at 6:00 pm. On Sunday July 20th action will begin officially at 12:30 pm.
