NIGHT OF THRILLS COMING TO RIVERHEAD RACEWAY JULY 26TH

    Hold on tight, it's going to be a wild night Saturday, July 26th at Riverhead Raceway as Barbara and Jim Cromarty present the annual "Night Of Thrills" at the eastern Long Island speed plant. Four divisions of NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series stock cars will provide their own high speed thrills on Buzz Chew Chevrolet, Oldsmobile and Cadillac night.
    On the "Night Of Thrill" portion of the card the first ever Mini-School Bus Demolition Derby will keep fans on the edge of their seats.  In addition, Reality Racing will present a fantastic motorcycle act plus a Train Race over the Figure Eight course is also slated.  This race has grown in popularity since its introduction in 2002. If that were not enough a Car Rollover Contest will turn things totally upside down!
    As the month of July winds down the point races in all classes at the quarter mile oval will be hitting stride as well on July 26th, with the NASCAR Modifieds set for 35-laps of open wheel action. J.R. Bertuccio as of press time was leading the NASCAR Modified point race by some 46 markers heading to the Cromarty Cup 50 on July 5th. Frank Vigliarolo Jr., John Fortin, Ed Brunnhoelzl Jr., and Joe Hartmann are all in pursuit of the 21-years old defending champion.
    Completing the NASCAR Dodge Series portion of the "Night Of Thrills" will be the Sonnenberg Nursery night 25 for the Late Models with 20-lap main events on tap for Chargers and Blunderbusts.
    Qualifying races will commence at 6:00 pm and the feature events will go green at 6:00 pm for the Riverhead Raceway "Night Of Thrills" Saturday July 26th.
