RIVERHEAD ANNOUNCES
LABOR DAY SCHEDULING CHANGE
Track owners and promoters Barbara
and Jim Cromarty have announced a change involving the
Blunderbust and Super Pro Truck divisions for the Labor Day
weekend at Riverhead Raceway. The Labor Day weekend
doubleheader features the annual popular appearance of the
Monster Trucks featuring Bigfoot.
The original draft of the 2003 slate
saw the Super Pro Trucks racing as part of the Saturday night
August 30th NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series program and the
Blunderbusts going the next afternoon as part of an Enduro
series card. However, the Blunderbusts will now race on
Saturday night August 30th and the Super Pro Trucks, will now
race Sunday afternoon.
