FIREWORKS TO
HIGHLIGHT RIVERHEAD RACEWAY PROGRAM AUG. 23RD
What
would I Love America night at Riverhead Raceway on August 23rd
be without Fireworks, still a great show as far as Barbara and
Jim Cromarty are concerned but a second Fireworks show will
definitely highlight the night. A card of NASCAR Dodge Weekly
Series action and a 4/6 Cylinder Demolition Derby will add to
the exciting card.
Zambelli International Pyrotechnics of
Pennsylvania, who have been wowing the Riverhead faithful for
years will make a return engagement to light up the night sky
for I Love America night. A patriotic theme will permeate the
night, which will find the Briarcliffe College 35 for the
NASCAR Modified being presented. Joining the open wheel
warriors will be the Late Models, doing battle in the Wizard
Building &Construction 25. The Chargers and
Blunderbusts seeing action as well.
The 2nd annual 4/6 Cylinder Demolition
Derby will take to the track once all the racing and fireworks
have concluded and these smaller and lighter cars really buzz
around the infield as they try to destroy each other.
Heat
races will start at 4:30 pm and the feature races will go
green at 6:30 pm. For more information please call
