CURTAIN WILL
COME DOWN AT RIVERHEAD RACEWAY SEPT 27TH
As hard as it may
seem the curtain will come down on the 2003 schedule at
Riverhead Raceway Saturday September 27th with a full card of
Enduro racing action starting at 4:00 pm. The NY Team Federal

twilight show with the best of the best facing off in
competition with "Dynamite" Danny Webster looking
for another win as will "Lil" John Alway. Both
are from Copiague. There are also our regular 8-Cylinder
Enduros in addition to 4 Cylinder and 4/6 Cylinder Truck
Enduros also slated for competition.
Peter Bertuccio and Scott Schelin will
be ready willing and able to try and win the NY Team Federal
Credit Union Train Race on the Figure Eight course, as will
Stan Wangenstein and Kevin Clarke and the father and son team
of Mike Mujsce Sr. & Jr.
The wild and hair raising Car Rollover
Contest will see its final action of 2003, as will the
One-On-One Spectator Drags, as Paul Fox looks to continue his
domination in that event.
Pit gates will open at 12:00 noon and
racing will go green at 4:00 pm. In the event of rain on
Saturday the show will Sunday September 28th with a Sunday
