NEETS FINALE
Billy Bartley, promoter of the
North East Enduro Tour Series, would like to announce the
running of the first annual Bartley Racing Enterprises 250
Grand Finale for the tour at Mountain Speedway on Sunday
October 12th.
The race will be 250 laps 3 wide rolling start with
green flag pitting and NASCAR type AMB transponder scoring.
The race is open to all big enduro cars within NEETS,
Brideport and Williams Grove rules and will pay a
"Guaranteed $1,000 to the winner". Also, up to $2,500
in lap money will be up for grabs throughout the race to the
individual lap leaders. 40 cars will pay top 10 cars, under 40
will be top 5. As always, the top 5 will receive the beautiful
NEETS trophies. Other trophies and cash awards will
be handed out and will be posted on the website. For NEETS
cars, this will be the last point race (double points) in the
2003 season and will determine the Champion and other top 10
in points that will be honored at the first annual NEETS
banquet on November 15th at the Best Western/Genetti Manor in
Hazleton,Pa.
The "BRE250"
will become the annual grand finale for the tour in every
season. It will always be the last race, longest race, double
points (for NEETS cars), pay lap money, and pay the
biggest purse. Future goals are to make this one of the
biggest Enduro races on the East Coast.
Along with the
"BRE250" will be a 100 lap 4cyl car/truck enduro
paying a minimum $500 to win and a 25 lap Ladies enduro with
$10 registration, "winner take all".
If you like 3 and 4 wide constant action (with No
Yellow Flags) this will be a race not-to-be-missed. You will
see the best of the best Enduro drivers from all over the
Northeast competing in all out grueling side by side racing
for 250 laps plus the 4cyls battling it out for 100 laps and
the Ladies racing a 25 lap shoot-out all for a special $8
general admission/ $4 for children under 12 and 5 and under
free. Pit admission will be $25 and car registration is $75.
