LONG ISLAND
MINI CUPS VISIT MOUNTAIN SPEEDWAY
The Long Island
Mini Cup Association (LIMCA) and the Scale Racing League (SRL)
visited Mountain Speedway this past Sunday for an exhibition
race.
A large field of
twenty-one cars showed which included drivers from Virginia,
Maryland, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. The
racing was intense and action-packed. LIMCA had a very
good showing, with Brandon LaVista winning the event.
Robyn Delabar in the #25 Precision Motor Cars Chevrolet
finished third, Tim Trzcinski in the #83 Statewide Fire
Extinguisher Chevrolet finished fourth, Steve Degaray in the
#1 Pennzoil Chevrolet finish fifth, and rounding out the LIMCA
contingent is the #53 John's Auto Repair Pontiac of Joseph
Burns.
The LIMCA would
like to publicly thank Billy Bartley and Mountain Speedway for
the opportunity to let us run this exhibition race and the
LIMCA hopes to work with Mountain Speedway to setup more races
next year.
The LIMCA would
also like to thank all the drivers that attended and made the
event as great as it was.
The next LIMCA
event is September 28th at Westhampton Speedway. We
hope to see you there.
