SOUTH SHOOTOUT NEWS & NOTES - MONDAY

- Jim
Long, Jr. has been confirmed as one of the many teams
heading down South. Long
will drive the #22 Martinelli Motorsports entry sponsored
by Maaco of Middlesex, NJ and KING Web Design.

- Heather,
Team Manager for the #99 of “Pistol” Pete Brittain
confirms with us that the “Pistol” is indeed heading
down south with his familiar #99 Builder’s First Source
modified. In
addition, RTE Chassis builder, Harry Reed, will crew chief
his team and hopefully lead it on to victory.
- Ken
Woolley will drive his #41 Dick Barney entry in the
Shootout as well.
- Jim
Willis is confirmed to be going, but with the #11 or #62
is yet to be known.
- Jamie
Tomaino has also confirmed he’s heading down south with
his familiar #99 Perth Amboy Spring/Fast Times Fabrication
Chevrolet. In
addition, Tomaino will have a Southern teammate with Rob
Fuller driving the #56 Fast Times Fabrication Chevrolet.

hear that Jarrod Hayes and the Young Guns Motorsports team
will be heading south along with Mike Andrews, Jr. to help
out with their Modified effort.
Hayes may also shake down Andrews backup Modified
as well.
Elsewhere
- Nevin
George will be heading down to the North vs. South
shootout as well in his familiar #0 Bruce George Paving
Chevrolet. Running teammate to him will be familiar Solhem Racing
driver, Ed Kennedy, who will steer a #8 out of the Ralph
Solhem Racing stable with a sponsor to be announced.
