RIVERHEAD
RACEWAY 2004 RULES READY FOR NASCAR CLASSES
Riverhead Raceway NASCAR
Dodge Weekly Series competitors recently received some reading
material for the long Thanksgiving holiday weekend when the
2004 rules arrived with their postman. The 2004 season will
open for the NASCAR stock cars on Saturday night April 24th at
Barbara and Jim Cromarty's quarter mile facility.
Competitors in the Late Model, Figure
Eight, Charger, Blunderbust and Super Pro Truck divisions
recently found their 2004 rule books in their mailbox. NASCAR
Modified teams of course will receive their rules via Daytona
Beach, Florida and the 2004 Enduro rules are still being
"tweaked" for the new race season. The 2004
Enduro campaign will get underway Sunday April 25th and those
2004 rules should be finalized in the weeks to come.
If you raced at Riverhead in 2003 and
you did not receive your 2004 rules please call the track
office to assure your address is correct with our staff. It's
also time for owners and drivers to register their car number
for the new season. Even if you raced in 2003 you must
re-register your car number and at this point anyone who
registered a number for 2003 and did not race will lose that
number unless they reapply.
For a 2004 schedule and rules please
call the Riverhead Raceway office at 631-842-RACE or visit our
website at www.riverheadraceway.com.
