RIVERHEAD
RACEWAY CLOSED FOR THE HOLIDAYS
It's that festive time of the year
once again and with the holiday season upon us Riverhead
Raceway officials announced today that the track business
office would close from Friday December 19th until Friday
January 2nd.
The annual hiatus allows staff members
the opportunity to be with family and friends during the
holidays. One present track owners and promoters Barbara and
Jim Cromarty surely will be asking of Santa is much nicer
weather for the 2004 NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series, a sentiment
heard throughout the Northeast which was pounded by wet
weather in 2003.
After the two-week break the Riverhead
Raceway office will re-open at 9:00 am on Friday January 2nd
and all eyes will point towards the opening weekend of 2004 on
Saturday April 24th and Sunday afternoon April 25th.
