RIVERHEAD HOOSIER TIRES AVAILABLE ON INSPECTION DAYS

    Hoosier Tires for owners and drivers who will compete in the 2004 NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series at Barbara and Jim Cromarty's Riverhead Raceway will be available this coming weekend March 27th & 28th during the pre-season technical inspection days. A third inspection day is set for the following Saturday April 3rd.
    Mike Cass of JYD Enterprises, the Hoosier Tire distributor for all divisions at Riverhead Raceway, indicated his staff will be on hand for those teams who want to purchase tires for the upcoming practice dates, April 10th and 17th. The Hoosier Tire compound will be open from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm on all three-inspection days.
    The Eastern Kart Racing Association will also conduct their pre-season practice sessions on all three inspection days, prior to the start of their 14-race schedule at the quarter mile facility in 2004. The E.K.R.A. opening day is set for Sunday April 4th.
    A $5 fee will be charged to those coming into the pits for technical inspection and teams are reminded that only race ready cars will be inspected. The E.K.R.A. pit fees for March 27th, 28th and April 3rd. will be separate.
    A free preview to the 2004 NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series at Riverhead Raceway will take place on Saturday afternoon April 10th and again the following week April 17th from 12 noon until 5:00 pm. The two pre-season practice days will feature free grandstand admission and is a great way to get a sneak peak at what lies ahead at Riverhead Raceway in 2004.
