AUTO TECH RETURNING TO RIVERHEAD RACEWAY SUPER PRO TRUCKS

Auto Tech Diagnostic Corp. of College Point, Queens will return to the Super Pro Truck fold of Riverhead Raceway as a seasonal sponsor of the "tailgate brigade" in 2004. The Super Pro Trucks will be just one of six divisions in action when Barbara and Jim Cromarty open the 2004 NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series on Saturday April 24th.
In making the announcement Bob Finan of Riverhead Raceway noted, "it's great to have Charlie and Sandy Rizzo and the Auto Tech staff return to our marketing program in 2004". Auto Tech Diagnostic has been with the Super Pro Trucks since 2001 as a seasonal sponsor.
Auto Tech Diagnostic is located at 121-08 18th Avenue in College Point, Queens and is a full service diagnostic and auto repair facility.
The 2003 Super Pro Truck championship fight was a real barn burner with Danny Grennan of Glen Cove scoring his second straight title, but not before going to a third place finish tie-breaker with Lou Maestri of Deer Park. In fact, that was the second time in their short history that the SPT title was decided by a tiebreaker, as Ron "Hurricane" Humes also won a crown a few years back in similar fashion.
The 2004 Auto Tech "night at the races" will be on Saturday evening August 14th.
Joining the Super Pro Trucks on the Saturday April 24th opening night card will be the NASCAR Modifieds, Late Models, Figure Eights, Chargers and Blunderbusts. Qualifying is set for 4:30, with feature event racing at 6:30 pm.
