DOUG WHOLEY EXCAVATING "DIGS" RIVERHEAD RACEWAY

Both the Charger and Blunderbust divisions of the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series at Riverhead Raceway got some good news today when it was disclosed that Doug Wholey Excavating would sponsor both classes on a seasonal basis. It's just the tip of the 2004-marketing program for the Centereach based outfit.
In making the disclosure Thursday concerning his 2004 marketing effort Doug also indicated that Doug Wholey Excavating would sponsor the June 12th 50-lap double point Late Model feature, as well the 75-lap NASCAR Modified feature set for September 11th. The NASCAR Modified race will find Doug's Ideal Cesspool firm being part of the sponsorship team of the event.
"Both the Chargers and Blunderbusts provide great grass roots racing for both the competitors and fans alike" Wholey boasted while making a personal appearance at a Pinewood Derby for Boy Scouts in Centereach. Two Doug Wholey Excavating nights at the race programs have been set for May 22nd and August 7th.
Aside from his role as businessman and sponsor, Doug will be doubly busy on the track in 2004 as well. Wholey, who won his first career Late Model feature in 2003, will be gunning for another triumph and a championship run in that class in '04. Also during the new season Doug will test the waters on a part-time basis in the premier NASCAR Modified division.
