RIVERHEAD ANNOUNCES VIAGRA SPONSORSHIP FOR
NASCAR MODIFIEDS
Riverhead Raceway officials are pleased
to announce today that Pfizer through its Viagra brand will
serve as a seasonal NASCAR Modified sponsor for the 2004 Dodge
Weekly Racing Series. The curtain goes up on the new campaign
at Barbara and Jim Cromarty's quarter mile oval this Saturday
evening April 24th.
The Viagra name is already well known
throughout the racing world by their association with Roush
Racing and Nextel Cup driver Mark Martin. Brian Keenan,
district manager for Pfizer on Long Island and Queens, in
making the announcement commented, "we are extremely
happy to partner with Riverhead Raceway and the NASCAR
Modified division" Brian further stated, "as is the
case with our national program in Nextel Cup, our target
audience is that of men between 35 and 70 years old, which is
also a strong demographic at Riverhead".
Viagra, which was introduced in 1998,
and is available with a prescription it has helped over 16
million men around the world improve their sex lives, as well
raise awareness about the importance of men's health in
general. Viagra remains the proven first choice of men. They
will host their "night at the race" on Saturday
August 28th, which is I Love America night.
Pfizer/Viagra joins Miller Lite,
Trailer Transport, United States Marines Corps and Eagle
Chevrolet as seasonal sponsors for the NASCAR Modifieds in
2004. John Fortin of Holtsville comes to the new season as the
defending NASCAR Modified champion seeking his third overall
title in 2004 in the open wheel machines.
Saturday night April 24 will find a
six for one program on tap with the Late Models, Figure
Eights, Chargers, Blunderbusts and Super Pro Trucks joining
the NASCAR Modifieds. Heat races will start at 4:30 pm with
feature event action starting at 6:30 pm.
