GLENN TYLER AND 28 LATE MODEL ANNOUNCE 04

Beach NY – The Riverhead Raceway 2003 Late Model
Championship Team has announced a new sponsor roster and
ambitious plans for the 2004 racing season.
Driver Glenn Tyler is again supported by crew chiefs
Greg Tyler and Wally Voegel and crew members Wayne Lindsay,
Mike Lindsay, “Big Mike”, Jim Pape and Kevin Dickerson.
According
to car owners Sheryl and John Heather, major sponsors are
Spring & Summer Activities Pools & Spas of Hampton
Bays, New York; Sypher Construction & Paving of Riverhead,
New York and Bill Weller, Weller Motorsports. “We’re very
honored that Sypher Construction is continuing their generous
contribution to our efforts,” stated John Heather. “And
Bill Weller is the unsung hero of our team. Without his
participation, we simply wouldn’t be where we are today.”
Big
Sal’s Racing Engines will again power the 28 Late Model.

According
to driver Glenn Tyler, “We’re extremely appreciative of
the sponsors who’ve been with us for many years, and welcome
Sundial Asphalt, World Pie, O’Mally’s, Buckley’s and
Ocean Petroleum to our racing family. We’re confidant that
we’ll be giving them and our fans another terrific
season.”
The
team will also run a limited season with the #28 Modified, and
is in the process of building a second car created
specifically for P.A.S.S. Series and larger tracks. “We
always look forward to our opportunities to race at other
speedways,” said Tyler. “Now we’ll be able to run on the
same level as the top competitors, and take the experience to
a whole new level.”
