RIVERHEAD RACEWAY SETS BUSY SLATE FOR SATURDAY MAY 22ND

    As the month of May starts to wind down, things are just starting to heat up at Barbara & Jim Cromarty's Riverhead Raceway.  A busy night of NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series action is set for Saturday May 22nd. Highlighting the evening will be Doug Wholey Excavating night for the Chargers and Victory Fleet Maintenance night for the Blunderbusts.
    Joining the Chargers and Blunderbusts on the card will be the NASCAR Modifieds, Late Models, Figure Eights and Super Pro Trucks who will all run regular distance events, as will the Chargers. Doug Wholey Excavating, a seasonal sponsor for the Chargers, will host their night at the races; this includes a trophy presentation by Doug Wholey to the winner of the 20-lap main event.
    The Blunderbusts will be in action in their second 30-lap double point race of 2004 even though this is just the fifth week of the 2004 schedule. Victory Fleet Maintenance who backs the class as a seasonal sponsor will host their night at the races with Betsi & Carl Rackoff presenting the hardware in victory lane.
