ENDUROS
TO RETURN TO SUNDAYS AUGUST 8
After being showcased before the
Saturday night NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series fans during the
month of July, the cars and stars of the Enduro series at
Riverhead Raceway will return to a Sunday afternoon format on
August 8th.
Joining the program will be the Super Pro Trucks and
One-On-One Spectator Drags.
The Grand Enduro racers will again
highlight the card, which will also feature an 8-Cylinder
Enduro, a 4 Cylinder Enduro and a 4/6 Cylinder Truck Enduro.
All four of these Enduro classes were featured on Saturday
night cards on separate dates during July. The 6-Cylinder
Enduro will return as well after having the month off.
The "tailgate brigade" Super
Pro Trucks will race in a 20-lap main event as Lou Maestri of
Deer Park, Dave Brigati of Calverton and defending division
champion Danny Grennan of Glen Cove resume their three-way
fight for the 2004 title.
