TITLE SPONSORS RETURNS TO NORTH SOUTH SHOOTOUT

Lexington, NC:  For the second straight year Pabst Brewing Co. of San Antonio, TX and Big Show Foods, Inc. of Louisburg, NC each have committed their support to C&C Racing Promotions and the North-South Shootout™, scheduled for November 5&6, 2004 at Concord Motorsports Park.  The independently promoted event will feature some of the best open-wheel racing talent in the country with the stars of the NASCAR Featherlite Modified Series, the Race of Champions, and the ASA/SMART all taking part.  

The 2nd Annual North-South Shootout™ will feature the John Boy & Billy Spring Water 100 presented by Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer for the ground-pounding Modifieds plus a great line-up of support divisions.  The supporting cast of the North-South Shootout™ will include Late Model Stocks and Thunder Roadsters.  Also in the line-up is three divisions of vintage racing including Flatheads, Sportsman, & Modifieds.

The 2nd Annual North-South Shootout™ will prove to be a great value as well. Affordable collectible tickets for the North-South Shootout™ presented by Pabst Blue Ribbon are now available.  Tickets for reserved top-row seats with spacious stadium seating can be purchased for only $50.  Reserved or general grandstand admission seating is only $35 with general admission for children priced at $25.  All tickets are good for both days.

Big Show Foods, Inc., through their new product, John Boy & Bill Spring Water, will present 100-laps of green flag racing that will feature a roster chock full of Modified racing talent.  Ted Christopher of Plainville, CT, Chuck Hossfeld of Buffalo, NY, Donny Lia of Jericho, NY and Race of Champions victor Eric Beers of Northampton, PA will represent the North.  The band of Southerners will include two-time SMART champion L.W. Miller of Mooresville, NC, Jay Hedgecock of Winston-Salem, NC, Junior Miller of Pine Hall, NC among others.

All the action of the 2nd Annual North-South Shootout ™ gets underway on Friday with practice and qualifying followed by the first feature event of the weekend, the first of the Twin 50s for the Late Models.  Saturday action will include consolation races, and features for all support divisions.  A non-qualifiers event will be held for the Modifieds culminating with the John Boy & Bill Spring Water 100 for the Modifieds.
