RIVERHEAD
OPENS 05 CAR NUMBER REGISTRATION
Riverhead
Raceway NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series officials disclosed
today that the 2005 car number registration is now
underway for the upcoming season. The 2005 campaign will
open for the NASCAR stock car set on Saturday evening
April 30th with a busy six for one program.
All competitors who raced in 2004
must call to re-register their numbers for the 2005 season
and also update all their address and give their social
security information. Anybody who registered a
number for 2004 but did not race will lose that digit if
another team calls for the same number. Of course all new
race teams will have to secure new car numbers on a first
come, first serve basis.
The Riverhead Raceway office will
be open all off-season long with the exception of
Thanksgiving Day Weekend and the annual Christmas shutdown
from December 22nd until January 3rd.
