2005
RIVERHEAD RACEWAY RULES NOW AVAILABLE
The
2005 rules for the five divisions of the NASCAR Dodge Weekly
Series at Riverhead Raceway have been released and are
currently available to race teams who did not already receive
a copy in the mail. The 2005 race season will get the green
light on Saturday night April 30th with a six for one program
of NASCAR racing action presented by Barbara and Jim Cromarty.
Rules for the Late Models, Figure
Eights, Chargers, Blunderbusts and Super Pro Trucks were
mailed out to those who raced in 2004 and were on the track's
mailing list November 24th. Any team that raced in 2004 or
that plans to race in 2005 should contact the track office
immediately and get their 2005 rules or visit the track
website at www.riverheadraceway.com
as the rules also appear there. The NASCAR Modified rules will
come out of Daytona Beach, Florida as they have for many years
now.
Also included in the 2005 rules
mailing were the trailer response forms that all teams must
fill out during the off season and these forms are due back at
the Riverhead Raceway business office by January 28th. The
trailer response form must be completed even if you have used
the same trailer for many seasons or have new equipment for
2005. Please do not mail the form to the track itself but
rather to PO Box 148, Lindenhurst, N.Y. 11757.
The only rules not yet released for
2005 are the Enduro regulations and Chief Steward Bill
Denniston hinted they'd be out within the next week or two.
The 2005 Enduro season swings into action Sunday afternoon May
1st, just hours after the NASCAR opener the night before.
For additional information please call
