BEATERS WITH HEATERS II FIRST RACE FOR NEETS

Need a winter racing fix? Well NEETS is at it again with it's Mid-Winter super successful 2 division enduro event appropriately called the "Beaters with Heaters" sponsored by Eric Drews of Drews Enterprises, NJ.  It will again be held at Mountain Speedway in St. Johns, Pa. on Sunday January 2nd.
NEETS promoter, Billy B. would like to invite everybody to come to the show and enjoy the thrills, spills and hard racing whether you be a fan or trying your hand at participating in the race. Mostly all the cars will be decorated in the Holiday Christmas theme. There will be free hot chocolate for everyone, plus Santa has told Billy that he plans on attending the event and visiting the fans in the grandstands with toys for the children during intermission. Santa, or one of his elves is even racing in the 4cyl class with the #25 North Pole Express.
"We have over 200 cars pre-registered now with about a month to go without advertising yet" says Billy, "plus we may have to split a race in half if we get over 130 cars in one division....that is all the transponders I have".
Ever since NEETS has made the rule changes to a completely bonestock car, the car counts have soared to the hundreds for each event. The pits are packed to the gate, the grandstands are full with more and more each time this series puts on a show. "Everybody is just having fun" says Billy. "With only a $7 admission and what you get for free, plus all the excitement of the racing...it is the best bang you can get for your buck anywhere".
The series will be holding 8 events in the 2005 season all on or around Holidays. The drivers will accumulate points for where they finish and a points fund equal to a Modified will be paid out at the NEETS December Awards Banquet to the top 10 drivers in each division. Billy has also added a bonus this year. If you have entered 5 out of the 8 scheduled events, you will be eligible to win a very nice Holiday vacation package no matter where you are in the points. One will be given to a lucky driver in each division at the awards banquet.
So get out the old seat warmer, take the trip to Mountain Speedway on January 2nd, and get ready to have the most fun you will ever have at a racetrack. As always, Billy will be throwing a free party to all race participants at the "Crossroads Inn" in Mountaintop at 7pm after the races to show appreciation for supporting the event. There will be FREE Hot Wings, great Chili, munchies, adult refreshments, DJ music and dancing until 11pm. You must have a pit armband and be 21 years old to enter. (Pa. state law).
