ANNUAL ICEBREAKER PRIZE PACKAGE GIVEAWAY

January 14, Long Beach, NY--- The Long Island Motorsports News website announced today that it is stepping up it’s Annual IceBreaker Giveaway.

Instead of just giving away a pair of tickets, this years’ giveaway will be a prize package worth a minimum of $260.00.

The Annual Prize Package Giveaway will consist of a pair of tickets for the April 9th and 10th race weekend, two nights lodging at the Holiday Inn Express with Continental breakfast in Milford, MA, and a copy of the official track program, Thompson Tradition.

This race will be the inaugural race of the Whelen Modified Tour. Whelen took over the sponsorship of the former Featherlite Modified Series, NASCAR Touring in 2005.

“We’re very excited about this first giveaway of 2005. It’s a great way to serve and give back to the many thousands of people that log on to our website,” Long Island Motorsports News editor/publisher Mike Fields stated.

“Once again, Thompson International Speedway came through, allowing us to give away tickets to this wonderful event. And then, the Holiday Inn Express in Milford, MA and Program Dynamics Inc. came on board. Between Russ Dowd (Thompson International Speedway), Donna Libby (Holiday Inn Express), and Steve Barrick (Program Dynamics Inc.)… well, we just can’t thank them enough.”

Thompson International Speedway (www.ThompsonSpeedway.com) has been a mainstay of Modified racing for decades, and many former and current top-tier drivers of the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series have called the fan-friendly Thompson their home track. Tickets are available for their

2005 events by calling the track office at 860 923-2280 during their regular business hours.

The Holiday Inn Express (www.ExpressMilford.com) in Milford, MA guarantees the best value in all of Milford. A stay at that hotel includes a Continental breakfast. They may be reached for reservations at 800 769-9450.

Program Dynamic, Inc. (www.ProgramDynamics.com) publishes the official track program for Thompson International Speedway, as well as at least 10 other racetracks.
