It’s that time of year again for
the 13th annual Daytona 500 party at Mike’s
Place located on Route 25 in Coram. The party will be
hosted by Steve Halpin and Bob Finan, and many race fans
and loyal supporters of LongIslandJam.com will be on
hand.
The Mortgage Guy, Tim
Halpin will be helping out with all the Daytona 500
pools. Also on hand will be Century 21’s Anthony Aiello
along with Vinny Marshall of VET Tile whom both will
probably be in the parking lot when the sun comes up
waiting to watch the Great American Race.
You can catch a glimpse
of Mike Fields and Fat Albert. Ken Heagy and Debbie
Fleming will be stopping by to represent One Fish Too
Fish Restaurant. In addition, to the Jam regulars,
David Roys will have his beautifully prepared #79 NASCAR
Modified which will be sponsored by Mike’s Place for
2005.
In addition to the
racing regulars, the Bud Girls will be on hand to give
out some great prizes and offer drink specials all day.
To cap off the day, a raffle will be held for a big
screen TV on Sunday.
For all the smokers out
there, Mike’s will have a heated tent set up outside
with televisions so you won’t miss a single lap.
So come on out and
enjoy the free buffet at Mike’s Place and support the
racing party that supports Long Island Racing and
LongIslandJam.com. Doors open at 11:30, see you at
