As many of you are aware the
Westhampton facility that LIKA had leased for almost 40
years was sold last year. The LIKA board has been faced
with the challenge to find a new facility for the 2005
race season. It has taken a lot of time, energy and
hard work. The task is nearing a successful
completion. With the efforts and cooperation of the
LIKA board the new 2005 race season plans will be
announced at the annual LIKA rules meeting to be held
on Sunday, March 13, 2005 @ 4 PM in The Hilton Long
Island located @ 598 RT. 110 Melville, NY 11747.

The LIKA Karting & Small Motorcycle
EXPO will precede the LIKA rules meeting. Starting at
1PM to 4PM. Come and meet your friends, suppliers and
competitors. Many new suppliers and potential event
sponsors are also invited to display their products.
This will be an exciting afternoon for Karting on Long
Island. Now is the time to put the final touches on
your 2005 race season preparation. Support the
suppliers and sponsors that support LIKA. Admission to
the show is free.
Karting is the fastest growing form of Motorsport in the
US. Major sponsors such as Snap-on Tools, BMW, Speed
–TV and Red Bull are just few to take notice in this
trend. Tell your friends and bring guests. Now is the
time to bring them to a one stop event to help them
understand if LIKA can be fun for their family. You
