Bellport, NY (March
10, 2005) – Bellport Country Club in Bellport, New
York will be the location for the 2005 Tom Baldwin
Memorial Open, created to pay tribute to the legendary
Long Island Modified driver.
The proceeds from this
event – including a silent auction of NASCAR memorabilia
– will be split between the Village of Bellport Concert
Series, Victory Junction Gang Camp, Susan G. Koman
Breast Cancer Foundation, and the Autism Society of
America.
Among the NASCAR
personalities scheduled to appear are Tommy Baldwin Jr,
Tony Stewart, Kasey Kahne, Rusty Wallace, Michael
Waltrip, Steve Park, Jimmy Spencer, and more.
