We at Racerhub are proud to announce the
creation of the Racerhub Cup. The Racerhub Cup is a way
to bring extra recognition to the competitors in the
NEETS ABC Car Crushing Holiday Stock Car Series and the
media sites that represents them. Not only will
competitors be competing for some great prizes, but
sites and the regions they represent will be faring for
the glory as well.
RacerHub sites to be represented include
the following. LongIslandJam.com will have Team Jam,
featuring racers from the Long Island and New York City
area lead by team captains Rich Johnson and Bobby Pease
along with LongIslandJam.com director, J.A. Ackley.
JerseyRacing.com will have Team Jersey encompassing the
whole Garden State with team captains Richard Petey and
Ryan Nelson along with JerseyRacing.com webmaster Gary
Silverman. RacerHub’s newest site, PoconoThunder.com
will have Team Thunder lead by Pappy Herman and Joe
Jentile along with PoconoThunder.com director, Ty Spier.
In addition, RacerHub will field a team
for racers outside the realm of the three aforementioned
sites. These racers come from all over the country
including such areas as Upstate New York, Maryland,
Delaware, and other parts of the country.
In each race, there are 110 points on
the line, 55 points for each division. The top ten
registered racers are awarded points, going in reverse
order of the finish of the top 10. For example, first
place is awarded ten points, second place is awarded
nine points, and so on down to tenth place getting one
point. An additional bonus point will be rewarded for
each registered region leader. Only NEETS-sanctioned
point races will count for the cup. Any non-points races
will not be counted in the Racerhub Cup standings. At
the last race, there will be double points on the line.
We hope that the double points will create an
interesting scenario to the ending of the 2005 NEETS
season.
You may be wondering how you can
register. To register visit the RacerHub Cup official
site at
http://cup.racerhub.com and click on the entry form.
Then after you submit that, you just have to display
your team's decal on both sides of your car. If you fail
to register by the third race, your finishes for the
previous races will be disqualified. So please register
ASAP to ensure you get in on this year’s biggest
contest.
As you read this we are currently
working on putting together a very nice set of year end
trophies and other prizes. If you are interested in
sponsoring the contest and providing a nice prize to
your consumer base, please e-mail J.A. Ackley at
JAckley@racerhub.com.
Stay tuned for more information on the
battle of the RacerHub sites!
