Middle Island, NY: Nucom Manufacturing
has announced they will be working with Brian Loftin of
Winston-Salem, North Carolina on the 2005 NASCAR
Southern Modified Tour. Nucom will be providing product
sponsorship to Loftin's team beginning with the Tour
opener at Caraway Speedway on March 26.
Loftin is coming off his best career season in 2004,
winning four times on the Southern Modified Auto Racing
Teams Tour. He will compete on the new NASCAR Southern
Modified Tour full-time in 2005, chasing the
championship.
Rich Niemiec, Vice-President of Nucom Manufacturing, is
excited about the new arrangement. "Brian Loftin is one
of the stars of the future in Southern Modified racing.
He is coming off a strong season in 2004, winning four
of the final six races on the S.M.A.R.T. Tour. We will
be providing him with spindles, brackets and suspension
components for the upcoming season. He had our products
in his car at a preseason practice at Caraway recently
and was turning laps near the track record. We are very
optimistic about the opener and we feel that Brian and
his team will be very competitive all season long. This
deal between his team and Nucom should be beneficial to
everyone involved."
Nucom Manufacturing, based on Long Island, designs,
develops and manufactures precision-machined components
and assemblies used on brake, steering and suspension
for racing and various North American customers.
