OVERWHELMING RESPONSE FILLS BALDWIN MEMORIAL
The
administrators for the
Tom Baldwin Memorial Open,
to be held June 9, 2005 at Bellport Country Club in
Bellport, New York, wish to make the following
announcement regarding the Open:
- All openings
have been filled for players. Those who sent in money
but did not receive a spot to play will be receiving
their checks back in 7 to 10 days. Spots are still open
for spectators and hole sponsors.
The
administrators also wish to thank the following groups for
their generous sponsorships:
- The Arute
Family of Stafford Motor Speedway and Rich Pallai from
Carquest for taking the
Silver Sponsorship, which sponsors lunch for all the
players and celebrities.
- Jim Smith of
Ultra Motorsports, home of
Ted Musgrave and Jimmy Spencer's Dodge Craftsman Truck
Series teams. They have signed on for the Bronze
sponsorship package which will supply all the players
and celebrities with beverages and snacks on the golf
course.
- Jack
Giarraputo, Paramount Pictures and the motion picture
THE LONGEST YARD will be
taking the Platinum Sponsorship Package and will be
sponsoring the dinner for all the players, volunteers,
and invited guests.
Most of
all, the administrators want to thank everyone for the
overwhelming response this tournament has received.
