SHIVERS READY FOR THOMPSON
No longer an expectant
father, Gregg Shivers is ready to race without the worry of his wife,
Bernadette, going into labor during a race. Gregg and Bernadette
welcomed their daughter, Kayla Marie, into the world on Thursday, June 9th,
allowing just enough time to prepare for the New England Dodge Dealers
Twin 100’s at Thompson this weekend.
Gregg and the crew are
ready to go racing at one of Gregg’s favorite racetracks, and put last
week’s race behind them. After a great qualifying run at Riverhead on
Saturday, the disappointing finish has been hard to swallow. The team
looks to turn their luck around at the always-exciting Thompson
Speedway.
No matter what happens,
the week has already been a good one for Gregg.
