Victory Junction Gang Camp to
Hold Fundraiser
Scott
Maliszewski, driver of the #22 Blunderbust, has announced that
he will be orchestrating a fundraiser to benefit Victory
Junction Gang Camp this Sunday, August 14. Several cars from
various Riverhead Raceway divisions are slated to be on hand,
and everyone is welcome to come down and watch the race while
supporting a worthwhile cause. Coverage of the race is
scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
Maliszewski
carries the Victory Junction Gang Camp logo on his racer on a
regular basis. “The Victory Junction Gang Camp does a
tremendous job, and I’m honored to be able to help them touch
the lives of so many,” said Maliszewski. “We are hoping for a
great turnout so that we can send a good contribution to the
camp. Everyone can watch the races on the big screen t.v.s, and
we will be setting up raffles during the afternoon as well. It
will be a great time for the whole family, and could ultimately
make a difference in someone’s life.”
The fundraiser is being held at Changing Times Pub, located at
1247 Melville Road (off Route 110) in Farmingdale. Maliszewski
and his crew will be accepting donations inside all afternoon,
rather than requiring a cover charge. For directions, call
Changing Times Pub at 631-694-6462 or for more information,
contact Scott Maliszewski at 516-236-4432.
