Riverhead Concludes 2005 Slate with
Enduro Show
The 2005 season will come to a roaring conclusion Saturday
night September 24th at Riverhead Raceway as Barbara and Jim
Cromarty will present a twilight Enduro program starting at 4:00
pm.
A full card of Enduro racing will be on tap to close out a
successful 2005 campaign with the Grand Enduro headlining the
show. The Grand Enduro class will be wrapping up its second
season of competition with Bob Pease of Medford stepping-up to
be one of the leading drivers in the class.
Joining the Grand Enduro will be races for the 8-Cylinder,
6-Cylinder, 4-Cylinder and 4/6-Cylinder Enduros and a Car
Rollover Contest.
The pit gates will open at 12 noon on September 24th and in
the event of rain the show will run the next afternoon September
25th. In the event the rain date is needed the Sunday schedule
would find the pits opening at 10:00 am and racing at 12:30 pm.
