NEETS Focuses on Woman Driver in Femduro

St. Johns, PA- The ABC Car Crushing NEETS Holiday Stock Car Series (HSCS) will make its return to Mountain Speedway on Saturday, October 8th for the running of the "FEM-Duro', a non points, NEETS rules enduro sponsored by Components Corporation.  With all female drivers taking the initial green, the racing should be the most exciting and entertaining NEETS event of the season.

This is the first-ever NEETS female/male tag team 102-lap enduro, in which only ladies will compete for the first 51-laps (ladies first).  At the half way point, all 4cyl cars will pit for the male driver change, while the 6/8 cyl ladies take their turn. Both divisions will then realign on the speedway for the remaining 51-laps driven by the males in the same order.  Trophies will be awarded to the top 5 lady finishers in each division when they take the checkers at lap 51, courtesy of E.R. Yard Care and Bartley Racing Enterprises.  A special ladies only practice is scheduled the same afternoon for 3:00-4:00 PM, so the drivers could get accustomed to their cars and the asphalt racing surface.

The Valley Service four cylinder division and the Cottman Transmission 6/8 cylinders will kick off the action at 5:00 PM with the "Yo Momma" and "Lil Sista" 102-lap feature events. This will also be the first time the series will run "under the lights".  A backwards minivan race is also on the card for the evening, along with a visit from the NEETS mascot.

As in all NEETS events, the top 5 in each division will receive trophies and purse. Over 50 cars will pay top ten. There will also be the usual Bartley Racing Enterprises Best appearing trophy in both divisions plus the BV Sprinklers "Rough ride of the day" award.

In keeping with the FEM-Duro theme, Billy has geared the normal (but never normal) after race NEETS party toward the females in our sport. The girls will be in for many surprises that evening.

The party is free to all participants, crew and family.

The Checkered Dreams racing charity will also be in attendance with ill children so they can spend time with the drivers, receive autographs and gifts.  The charity is also the NEETS charity of choice for the event, and $1 from each general admission will be donated to its cause.

The wild evening of action will begin at 5:00 PM.  Grandstand admission is $7 for ages and up.  Children 6 and under are admitted free.  The race sponsor, Components Corporation, invites everyone to 'Get bent with us'.  If you love 'woman drivers', you can't miss the NEETS HSCS 'FEM-Duro'!

Will it look like the Mall parking lot the day before Christmas? Or will the ladies surprise us and do as well as the guys (or better)?  Only one way to find out and that is to come see for your self. NEETS always gives you the best "BANG" for your buck.
