Niederauer to drive in Femduro
Long Beach, NY--- Bulletproof
Transmissions Racing announced today that Marissa Neiderauer
will be piloting the #21 Camaro Z28 at the NEETS FemDuro
race on October 8th. The FemDuro is a
‘Tag-Team’ event, part of the NEETS Holiday Stock Car Series.
When the green initially flies, only ladies will start the
event, and run 51 laps. At that point, the yellow will be
displayed, as all cars will pit and the men will take over for
the final 51 laps.
Neiderauer, from Plainedge, NY, just
completed her sophomore season in the NASCAR Weekly Racing
Series at Riverhead Raceway in the open-wheeled Modified
division. A veteran of Go-Kart racing, Marissa also has competed
at Mountain Speedway in her #74 Modified. TTB Construction,
County Tires, G-Force Collision, Custom Exteriors, Panorama
Signs, Lakewood Used Auto Parks, and McBetts Racing Engines
sponsor Bulletproof Transmissions Racing.
“When we decided to enter the car in
the race, there was no question who we wanted behind the wheel,”
stated car-owner Caesar Cunnacia. “Marissa is a good driver. I
want to take down the win, and I want to see her win in my car.”
The action begins at 3:00pm on
Saturday, October 8th, as the ladies take the track
for a one-hour practice session. The Regular racing program
commences at 5:00pm. An after-race party is scheduled, with
admission free to participants, crews, and families. This is the
first NEETS event to be run under the lights.
