Winners Cars Will Be Crushed at the Mutha

The next ABC Car Crushing NEETS Holiday Stock Car Series event is the final point race of the 2005 season. The two-day (November 19th and 20th) show will award the winners of the double points event with a $5,000 prize for the big cars (300-laps) and $2,500 to win for the small cars (150-laps) in the Valley Service ‘Mutha of all Enduros” at Mountain Speedway in St. Johns, PA.  Although ‘endurance’ will be key in these grueling races, one driver in each division will come out victorious and win the biggest enduro event of the season.

If the big money isn’t enough, the fans will witness something that has never been done before.  Following tech inspection, the winner's cars will be crushed (or forfeit win, points and prize money) in front of the fans via the ABC Car Crushing portable car crusher.  In the event of refusal for the car crushing, the next highest finishing driver will be offered the same position, etc. “A NEETS HSCS car is supposed to be very cheaply built and all stock. This is one way of keeping the rules in line” says promoter Billy Bartley.  “This will be cool for our loyal fans…I just hope they (the drivers) all just don’t step on the brakes on the final lap”.

On Saturday, November 19th All drivers will qualify through heat races.  Qualifying will take place with 10 car/10 lap heat races lined up from registrations.  The winners of each of the heat races will re-draw for the main event pole positions at the end of the day.  All others will show a straight up start as they finished in their heat race followed by any new cars joining on Sunday up to 130 cars.  Any new cars that join on Sunday without running Saturday’s qualifying race will fall to the rear, based on the order in which they register.  Also on the card for Saturday is the 4 cyl. and 6/8 cyl. Top Ten points Norwich Construction Challenge race, plus a 50-lap ‘Trux' enduro, where the ever so popular mid-sized 4/6 cyl. trucks will compete.  At the conclusion of the evening, all MUTHA participants are welcome to attend the FREE RACE PARTY at Butler Township Fire Hall (less than 1 mile from track).  The party is slated for 7:30-12 midnight and will feature Food, Beer and dancing to music supplied by "DJ NEETZ".  All of Saturday’s action begins at 1:00 PM.  Grandstand admission Saturday is $7 for ages 7 and up.  Children, ages 6 and younger will be admitted for free.

Sunday (November 20th) will include both the MUTHA main event,  300-laps for the Cottman Transmission 6/8 cylinders ($5,000 to win) and the  ‘Lil MUTHA, 150-laps for the Valley Service 4 cylinders ($2,500 to win). The $12K advertised purse is based on a 100-car minimum in each division.  All of Sunday’s action begins with the four cylinder main event at 1:00 PM.  Grandstand admission Sunday is $10 for ages 7 and up.  Children, ages 6 and younger will be admitted for free.  An adult grandstand weekend pass is also available on Saturday for $15.

The NEETS charity for the event is Toys for Tots.  Anyone and everone is asked to bring a toy to be donated to needy families for an enjoyable holiday season.

The 3rd Annual NEETS awards banquet is scheduled for Saturday, December 10th at the Lobitz Banquet Hall in Hazleton, PA.  Along with the two division champions being honored there will be additional awards presentations, music and dancing.  The top ten in NEETS Holiday Stock Car Series points (NOTE:  Top ten must wear suit jacket and tie) will be awarded trophies and cash awards.  There are also two Las Vegas Holiday vacation packages awarded to a lucky driver in each division, plus one package for a lucky banquet attendee.  The "Top Ten Club" cash awards and plaques will also be presented, plus the Long Island Jam Most Popular driver awards, the coveted 2005 "Uncle Petey" award and many other awards, door prizes and 50/50 tickets. Tickets are limited to 200 and going fast.  For ticket info, please call Billy Bartley at 570-881-9591 or email billyb@neetstour.net.  The ticket cut-off date is November 20th.

Billy wants to extend his gratitude to all the loyal fans, drivers, crew and families that have attended his events during the 2005 season. He promises to make the 2006 season even more exciting for them as he has many ideas for the HSCS series plus the addition of the truck division and also the new series he is working on now (MONSTER CARS) which are a all out hot rod enduro type car. The NEETS Holiday Stock Car Series will kick off its 2006 season with the annual Drews Enterprises “Beaters with Heaters” on Saturday, January 7th.
