Tyler Moves Up to Modifieds Full Time
28
Motorsports owner Sheryl Heather has announced the sale of the
#28 Riverhead Late Model to Renee Lutz of Miller Place, New
York. Her husband, Eric Lutz, long-time driver of the Riverhead
#36 Charger, will be behind the wheel.
According to Heather, “The 28 team will be concentrating our
efforts on Modified racing for 2006. We’re pleased that our
2-time championship car is going to continue running at
Riverhead, and wish Renee and Eric the best of luck with Late
Model racing.”
A new Troyer
Modified is under construction, and the team will continue to be
powered by Big Sal’s Racing Engines. All primary sponsors,
including Weller Motorsports, Spring & Summer Activities, Sypher
Construction & Paving, P&G Auto Parts and Twin Forks Overhead
Doors are already on board for the 2006 Modified program, with
other sponsorships available.
“Along with driver Glenn Tyler, crew chiefs Greg Tyler and Wally
Voegel, I’d like to thank our many fans and friends for all the
support they’ve given us this past season,” Heather concluded.
“We’re all looking forward to opening an exciting new chapter in
our racing experience.”
