2ND ANNUAL TOM BALDWIN MEMORIAL OPEN
SET FOR JUNE 1ST

    After an ultra successful debut in 2005 plans were announced recently for the 2nd annual Tom Baldwin Memorial Open golf outing at the Bellport Country Club on Thursday June 1st. Once again a virtual who�s who of NASCAR stock car racing on every level is expected to turn out and pay �Tribute to a Tiger�.
    Steve Halpin, who in conjunction with Tom Baldwin Jr. organizes the outing noted, � Our first Tom Baldwin Memorial Open raised over $50,000 for the various charities the event benefited with just a tremendous turnout of players and spectators�. In 2006 the Tom Baldwin Memorial Open will raise money for four specific charities including the Victory Junction Gang, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Autism Society of America and the Village of Bellport Summer Concert Series.
    The Bellport Country Club will again play host to the outing with a $400 per golfer fee which will include, breakfast, lunch and dinner, greens fees, golf cart, beverages on course, an open bar, awards ceremony and plenty of prizes, trophies and giveaways. There will again be a 144 player maximum.
    Among those schedules to appear will be Tom Baldwin Jr., Kasey Kahne, Elliot Sadler, Dale Jarrett, Michael Waltrip, Kyle Petty, Larry McReynolds, Slugger Labbe, Bob Dillner, Matt Yokum, Mike Joy, Tony Eury Jr., Ed D�Hondt and Don Hawk. Many of the stars of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour against who Tom Baldwin raced with are also expected to be on hand as in 2005 the likes of Donny Lia, Eric Beers, Chuck Hossfeld, Tony Ferrante Jr. and Wayne Anderson played in the event. Please note the celebrities are subject to change.
    A popular aspect to the 2005 Tom Baldwin Memorial Open was the 10 spectators per hole with a fee of $125 per person. Gaining the fans access to the drivers who were very accommodating is signing autographs while waiting to tee off.
