Racin' Rich Johnson Passes Away

Racin' Rich Johnson, Mr. Enduro to many, passed away suddenly from an apparent heart attack yesterday during the NEETS April Fool's Day race.  Rich was the face for Enduros on Long Island and represented the class in true diplomatic form, which only one of Rich's class and stature could carry out.  Rich is responsible for many of the innovations to the Enduro class over the years.  In addition, Rich is responsible for growing the class and creating its competitive form by helping new racers out, a role which earned him many friends in the community.  Rich was a great friend to the racing community and will be sorely missed.  On behalf of LongIslandJam.com, we send our condolences out to his family and friends.  Those who knew him were truly blessed, as if we all were a little more like Rich, it would be a better world.
