SAFER GOES TO BLACK ROCK SPEEDWAY FOR---
 ‘SAFER 25, PRESENTED BY STOCK & CARR,

Long Beach, NY --- The Long Island-based Suffolk Association of Figure Eight Racing (SAFER) will be taking its first ‘road trip’ in over a decade on July 8^th to Black Rock Speedway in Dundee, NY. Black Rock, a 4/10^th mile clay track about 12 miles outside of Watkins Glen, will host the special 25-lap feature. Some of the drivers expected to make the trip are 5-time Figure Eight Champion Roger Maynor, 2000 champion ‘The Dean’ Bill Steen, Joe Saraceno, Ken Hyde, Tommy Graff, Mike Brigandi, Mike Mujsce Sr., John Delavergne, and Carl ‘The Ax’ Baxter. The appearance by SAFER will coincide with a Dundee Days Special, providing a special $1.00 spectator admission price, as the Figure Eights join the Pro Trucks, 4-cylinder Modifieds, Men’s Enduro, All-Star Karts, One-on One Spectator races, 600cc Mods, and Lawn Mower races.
    The race will run on the newly completed Figure Eight course, which will showcase the ‘SAFER 25, presented by Stock & Carr, Attorneys at Law’. “We’re thrilled to have Tom Stock of Stock & Carr step forward to sponsor the race,” commented Bill Steen, SAFER Chairman of the Board.  “This brings a lot of prestige to the race, and to SAFER.” Stock & Carr deal primarily in personal injury, wrongful death, medical & legal malpractice, real estate, wills & estates, and commercial litigation.  In April, Tom Stock became one of less than a handful of attorney’s from Long Island to argue a case in front of the United States Supreme Court in Washington, DC.
