ENDUROS RETURN TO SUNDAY FORMAT
AT RIVERHEAD THIS WEEK

    After a month off for some Saturday night racing, the Riverhead Raceway Enduro series returns to its familiar Sunday afternoon roots this Sunday August 6th at 12:30 pm.

    The cars and stars of the Grand Enduro division will get back to business Sunday after John Cozza of Medford won their Saturday night contest on July 8th. Out to take the winners share of the purse will be past winners in 2006 Bob Pease, Greg Zaleski and Ray Fitzgerald who all be tested by drivers seeking their first win of the year.

    Anthony Pizzo of Calverton will lead the 8-Cylinder Enduro class back into matinee racing Sunday after his July 15th victory, his second of the campaign. The 4-Cylinder Enduro will return after losing their Saturday July 22nd show to the weatherman and be joined by the 6-Cylinder and 4/6-Cylinder Truck Enduro.

    Completing the afternoon are the One On One Spectator Drags and a Car Rollover Contest. Pits will open at 10:00 am and racing starts at 12:30 pm and in the event of rain the show shifts to Sunday August 13th.
